HOLLYWOOD, Calif.
— The home of “House of Cups,” which has starred in movies like “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Cats,” has been destroyed by Hurricane Maria, the California Department of Water Resources said.
The home, in the hills near downtown Los Angeles, was damaged on Monday night.
A spokeswoman for the water agency said the agency is working with the city to determine the extent of the damage.
The agency is investigating the cause of the fire, the spokeswoman said.
Officials say the house, a former mill, was not damaged.
It’s not clear how much damage it sustained.
The state’s Department of Emergency Services said Monday that the house was a house of “tobacco and coffee,” which was owned by the actor Robin Wright, who played the title character in “House” and other shows.
The actor’s house was demolished Monday night by a bulldozer.
